Israeli Aid brings professional training to California following wildfires

Israeli humanitarian NGO IsraAID, has launched a Humanitarian Professionals Network (IHPN) in California, following the devastating wildfires that spread across the southern part of the state in 2018.

Dozens of professionals from the health care and engineering fields are being trained by IsraAID to learn more about humanitarian aid and disaster relief.

Executive Director of IsraAID Seth H. Davis said that trained IHPN teams “will leverage Israeli innovation, work in full collaboration with local partners, and educate the public and professionals on disaster prevention and relief”.

IsraAID, since its founding in 2001 has responded to and assisted with emergencies all across the world,  has provided lifesaving relief and sustainable solutions for those areas affected by disaster – helping over two million people in 49 countries.
