Four Israelis were injured on Thursday after a car drove into a bus stop, in a suspected terror attack in the Etzion settlement south of Jerusalem.
The deputy head of the Etzion council said that the driver “crossed the highway and with great force struck a group of students who were waiting for the bus”.
A suspect was arrested by Israeli security forces shortly after the attack, and is reported to be a Palestinian resident of Hebron.
All four of the injured victims were between 16 and 25 years old, and were quickly evacuated to a nearby Jerusalem hospital.
Thursday’s incident follows a spate of similar deadly car-ramming attacks in Jerusalem and the West Bank since last autumn.
