The Israeli Ambassador to the UK, H.E. Tzipi Hotovely, joined 50 Conservative MPs and Peers this week at the first CFI lunch of the new Parliament.

The Ambassador thanked the Conservative parliamentarians for their support throughout the previous Government and shared her appreciation for the Conservative Party’s leadership since Hamas’s 7th October attacks, before addressing parliamentarians’ questions on UK-Israel bilateral relations, the Israel-Hamas war and the threat to regional stability posed by Iran and its proxies.

The discussion was chaired by CFI Honorary President Lord Polak OBE, after CFI Parliamentary Chairman (Lords) The Rt. Hon. Lord Pickles led a moment of silence for the six young hostages that were recently killed by the Hamas terror group. CFI Chair Hilda Worth gave a vote of thanks at the event, where attendees included members of the Shadow Cabinet and former Cabinet Ministers.
