Following a series of deadly terror attacks in Israel this morning, tensions have continued to rise in Israel and the West Bank.
One of the two people killed in a shooting and stabbing attack on a bus in Jerusalem this morning has been identified as Haviv Chaim, aged 78. His wife, Shoshana, is hospitalised in serious condition following the attack.
It has been reported that one of the terrorists responsible for the attack is a freed Hamas prisoner.
Palestinians in Gaza fired at the vehicle of a senior IDF officer near the border, according to the army. No one is reported to have been injured but the car was damaged.
The Israeli-Gaza border has seen ongoing riots this afternoon, and at one point dozens of Palestinians were reported to break through the border fence separating Israel and Gaza during the violent demonstration.
In a separate terror attack in Jerusalem this morning, one person was killed and another wounded after a driver rammed into a crowd on Malchei Israel Street in the Makor Baruch neighborhood in the centre of the city. The attacker reportedly stepped out of the crashed vehicle and attempted to stab the wounded. The terrorist was subdued by police, but was not killed.
In the central Israeli city of Ra’anana, one person was badly wounded and two lightly wounded in a stabbing this morning, and another person was lightly wounded in a separate stabbing attack in the area.
