Tel Aviv’s annual Pride Parade celebrating the LGBT+ community is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants from around the world on Friday – the largest Pride event in the Middle East.
Last year, 250,000 people from travelled to Tel Aviv to take part in a week of parties, events, shows and the parade.
The parade will start from Ben Zion Boulevard in Tel Aviv’s city centre at 10am with drag shows, speeches and music, before proceeding to the seaside promenade at noon.
Britain’s new Ambassador to Israel, H.E. Neil Wigan will be taking part in the parade with an Embassy float.
The parade will conclude with a massive beach party at the seaside Charles Clore Park featuring Israeli Eurovision winner Netta Barzilai.
This year’s International Ambassador of Tel Aviv Price is American actor Neil Patrick Harris.
