A group of eleven specialist surgeons from Israel visited the UK on a delegation this week. The delegation met with the Director of the Scottish Conservatives, Lord McInnes CBE, for a tour of the Palace of Westminster.
They visited the viewing gallery in the House of Lords, and were present to hear a question asked by CFI Honorary President Lord Polak CBE, regarding the UK’s support for peaceful coexistence projects bringing Israelis and Palestinians together.
The group was led by travelling instructor Reuben Weil, a senior colorectal surgeon from Hasharon Hospital in Petach Tikva.
They went on to attend the Basingstoke M25 course in colorectal surgery as part of their annual visit.
