A 19-year-old Israeli solider was stabbed to death on Thursday in the southern city of Arad, in what police say is likely a terror attack.
The victim, named as Ron Yitzhak Kokia, was found lying unconscious at a bus stop outside a mall with severe stab wounds on his upper body.
Police units are searching the Arad area for the suspects that carried out the stabbing attack. Heightened security continues in and around the city.
Since September 2015, 59 people have been killed in stabbing, car-ramming, and shooting attacks in Israel and the West Bank and 827 people injured.
