Minister for the Middle East, Rt. Hon. James Cleverly MP, underlined that “the UK has an enduring commitment to Israel”, following a meeting this week with Ambassador of Israel, H.E. Tzipi Hotovely and Deputy Ambassador Oren Marmorstein.
Mr Cleverly said in a post on Twitter: “The UK has an enduring commitment to Israel. I met Ambassador @TzipiHotovely and Deputy @OrenMarmorstein today to celebrate the UK-Israel, and further boost bilateral cooperation, including on tech, trade and COP26”.
The Middle East Minister and Ambassador Hotovely also shared a stage last week in Parliament, as diplomats from Israel, the UAE and Bahrain and cross-party parliamentarians celebrated the first anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords and the launch of the UK Abraham Accords Group.
