Middle East Minister James Cleverly MP welcomed new Ambassador of Israel H.E. Tzipi Hotovely to her role and underlined the importance of the UK-Israel partnership in a phone call this week.
Mr Cleverly said in a Twitter post on Tuesday: “I stressed the importance of the UK-Israel relationship and the Abraham Accords for strengthening regional prosperity and security, and emphasised need for progress on the Middle East Peace Process”.
Ambassador Hotovely arrived in London in October. She is the first woman Israeli Ambassador in the UK.
