Israel provides China with lifesaving equipment to help prevent the spread of coronavirus

Israel’s Magen David Adom national ambulance service have sent 2,000 face masks and 200 full body protective kits to China in an attempt to end the spreading of the deadly coronavirus.

Since the first case of the infection was found on 31st December 2019, over 24,000 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus and 490 have tragically lost their life to this deadly virus. Most of the cases have been found in China. Chabad-Lubavitch rabbis in China requested the donation from IsraAID and Magen David Adom, and these masks and protective kits will be dispersed to 14 different Chabad house branches in China.

In addition to this, IsraAID have sent lifesaving medical emergency equipment to the Chinese Ministry of Health on the last flight to mainland China from Tel Aviv. IsraAID co-CEO Yotam Polizer said IsraAID “will continue to monitor the situation, and may launch a secondary response including Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for humanitarian aid workers and first responders working in the area, focusing on stress relief”.
